Our colonies are made up of a strain of locally adapted bee.
In the Spring our bees can be found buzzing around rapeseed plants adding a certain extra sweetness to the honey. As the year moves
on to summer our bees move on to field beans and brambles helping us out by pollinationg the plants we need to make our berry jams.
Falling into late Summer, the bees move on to the miles and miles of heather that we are very lucky to have on the nearby,
breathtaking Llandegla moors.
Depending on the season and what we have grown means that our jams are always changing in flavour.
We have two breeds of chicken which are our main egg producers, Buff Orpingtons and Aracarna’s which give us the blue eggs. They are fed on a mixed corn diet as well as any other goodies they find as they free roam our garden area and hedge rows.
We also have a number of young geese that we are rearing for egg production and we hope to taste their hardy work soon.
What we have to offer depends on what we have been growing over the seasons.
As with all of our stock it is made with our own produce, the quality can be tested in its silky smooth taste.
These products can be made to order and the price varies depending on the order
